Walmart sits in the first quadrant of the board, between GO and Jail. Properties in this region are cheap to acquire and cheap to build on, but they generate lower rent than mid-board lots. The strategic case for owning Walmart is locking down the entire Supermarkets group early — when fully built, the cumulative rent from low-cost properties can quietly drain opponents who pass through repeatedly.

Walmart is at board position 3. Players reach it by landing on the corresponding square after rolling the dice from any earlier position, or by drawing a Chance card that advances them directly to a property.

Color Group Strategy

The two cheapest properties on the board (Supermarkets), located right after GO. This group is rarely landed on but the lots are cheap to monopolize and build, making them a favorite end-game grind for squeezing extra rent out of opponents who land between GO and Jail.
